This article replaces a Synology DS213 that has made the soul during power outages repetition (the discs are still good, but the motherboard of the device is HS). It is perfect but requires some computer skills for its implementation (more complicated than the Linksys NAS 200 already in place). I have enabled the RAID in order not to lose important data and irreplaceable, such as photos. The only downside is the price, if you buy nine (hence 4* instead of 5) ; but I bought mine used. It works perfectly on a DS209+II and DS411+II, within the limits set (and announced at the time) by Synology, ie for my 2 NAS "non-compatible" creation of separate volumes, without the possibility to expand the internal volume.
